MAKATI – Aurora Gaming's historic run continues as they stop powerhouse Falcons AP.Bren off their tracks, 4-2. in the MPL Philippines Season 14 playoffs lower bracket finals.

The victory also earned Aurora a direct invitation to the M6 World Championships, denying Falcons AP.Bren the chance to defend their title.

Angelo "Pheww" Arcangel, captain of Falcons AP.Bren, led his team to draw first blood in the series with a commanding 21-3 victory over Aurora. Pheww's Luo Yi racked up five kills and 15 assists, pulling off several key Diversion plays that disrupted Aurora's attempts to regroup.

Renejay "Renejay" Barcase bounced back, contributing to all 11 of Aurora's kills as they tied the series in a 14-minute match. Jonard Cedrix "Demonkite" Caranto's Alpha was pivotal, with six kills and three assists while securing both lords.

Aurora then took the lead with a 15-6 triumph in Game 3, thanks to Kenneth "Yue" Tadeo’s Aurora hero, who posted five kills and 10 assists. Demonkite’s Suyou also shined with five kills and nine assists.

Aurora dominated with 11 kills to just two in a 14-minute match, securing map control early and putting themselves on match point, with Edward Jay "Edward" Dapadap's on-point use of Edith. Kyle "KyleTzy" Sayson’s Nolan, however, failed to contribute, recording no kills, assists, or deaths.

KyleTzy redeemed himself in Game 5, helping Falcons AP.Bren extend the series with a 17-12 victory. His Suyou registered six kills and seven assists, forcing a sixth game.

Despite the momentum shift, Aurora remained composed and clinched the series in Game 6 with a 14-5 win.

Renejay's Mathilda was instrumental, delivering two kills and 12 assists, officially eliminating the world champions.

The win marks Demonkite, Domeng, and Ben Seloe "Benthings" Maglaque's first world championship trip, while this will be the fourth time for Edward–the first MPL Philippines player to do so.

Aurora will now aim to crown their remarkable season with a title as they face top-seeded Fnatic ONIC Philippines in a best-of-seven Grand Finals on Sunday.
