MAKATI - From the Sonics' lair to the world!

Fnatic ONIC Philippines secures the first of two MPL Philippines tickets to the M6 World Championship as they grab a 3-1 victory over reigning world champs Falcons AP.Bren on Friday.

It will be the third time the ONIC Philippines franchise will head to the world stage after their stint in M1 during the V33wise era and again in M3 during the Kairi era.

Jann Kirk "Kirk" Gutierrez led the way for the yellow and black as his Edith put up nine assists in a 12-4 victory, while Frince "Super Frince" Ramirez grabbed a kill and assisted 10 more.

King Cyric "K1NGKONG" Perez stepped up a notch as he tallied five kills and three assists with the Nolan to lead FNOP for a 13-10 tight win against Falcons AP.Bren.

Marco "Super Marco" Requitiano's 4/2/4 tally with the Natan went to naught they fell against the lord dance trap and prompting Fnatic ONIC PH to pick them up one by one in the 22nd minute.

The gold laner wasn't fazed by the setback as he led FCAP to a Game 3 win with his Moskov pulling a 9/0/5 KDA performance in 23 minutes.

K1NGKONG had a rare bad game as he fell four times with the jungle Suyou but had five kills and an assist, while Duane "Kelra" Pillas put up a 4/1/5 with his signature Beatrix pick.

However, FNOP was too much for any comeback stories as they finished FCAP in a quick sub-10 minute Game 4 with 17 kills to the latter's four.

Star jungler K1NGKONG put up a masterful performance with 10 kills and three assists with the Suyou, while Super Frince and Borris "Brusko" Parro combined for 26 assists as they denied Falcons AP.Bren of any major objectives to clinch the win.

Falcons AP.Bren will await the winner of the win-or-go-home bout between rivals Aurora Gaming and Blacklist International.
