MANILA--Seoul SK reminded Wonju star Ethan Alvano that he is now a marked man as he was nearly shut out in the Promy's 72-77 road loss to the Knights on Tuesday night at the Jamsil Student Gymnasium in the South Korean capital.
The former Alab Pilipinas star, the KBL's reigning MVP, was held to only two points on a dismal 1-for-10 shooting, including an 0-for-6 clip from beyond the arc.
Seoul SK turned things around in the second half, outscoring Wonju, 43-30, to complete the comeback.
Jameel Warney led the Knights, who joined Carl Tamayo and the Changwon Sakers at the top of the standings at 2-0, with 25 points, 11 rebounds, one assist, two blocks, and two steals.
Kim Sun-Hyung added 19 points, five rebounds, six assists, and four steals.
Juan Gomez De Liano did not see action at all in Seoul SK's first meeting against Wonju this season.
Chinanu Onuaku led the Promy, who fell to 1-1, with 19 points, 16 rebounds, five assists, and one block, while Kang Sang-Jae added 10 points, 10 rebounds, four assists, and two steals.
