MAKATI - Welcome to the MPL, Bornok!

Smart Omega clipped a 2-1 win against struggling RSG Philippines in a retribution rumble to boost their playoff form on Friday.

Jet "Bornok" Amorsolo suited up for the first time for the Barangay in place of Jayson "UK1R" Alupit, being the only rookie so far to play this season.

Raider jungler John Darry "1rrad" Tuazon put up five kills and four assists with the Ling as he led RSG to a 17-minute Game 1 win while Arvie "Aqua" Antonio registered four kills and fove assists with his Valentina.

RSG did not give any major jungle creep as Omega only managed to topple four of nine turrets.

Jomarie "JOWM" Pingol stepped up for Omega as he put up three kills and three assists with the Lunox to tie the series as UK1R returned to the playing five with Bornok subbing out.

RSG did not get a single objective during the 13-minute game while Clarense "Kusey" Camilo had a bad time in the office as he fell thrice with the Moskov.

The Omega gold laner put up a master class once more as his Lunox tallied ten kills and assisted eight more, while Andrew "Andoryuuu" Flora added seven kills and assisted 12.

Smart Omega will have a big Saturday against Fnatic ONIC Philippines, while RSG will have their playoff hopes on the line against already playoff-bound Aurora on the same day.
