Paul Lee catches fire as Magnolia forces Game 5 in PBA Govs' Cup QFs vs ROS with blowout

MANILA—Paul Lee waxed hot in the most pivotal time for Magnolia as he led the team to a 129-100 blowout win against Rain Or Shine in Game 4 of the PBA Governors' Cup quarterfinals on Tuesday night at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium.

Held to only six points in the controversial Game 3, Lee responded with 25 even as he was nearly flawless from the extended perimeter by going 3-of-4 from four-point range.

The Hotshots, who decided to sit out Zav Lucero due to the PBA's concussion protocols, used a 36-18 second quarter to pull away from the Elasto Painters and force a Game 5 on Saturday at the Ynares Center in Antipolo.

"I'm very happy na lahat kami, laser-focused tonight," said Lee, who also had six assists.

Jabari Bird led Magnolia with 30 points, four rebounds, two assists, and two steals.

Aaron Fuller had 22 points on 8-of-14 field goals, 10 rebounds, one assist, and one steal for ROS.
