MAKATI - Blacklist International solidifies their form heading into the MPL Philippines Season 14 playoffs as they beat rivals Aurora Gaming in three games.
The Codebreakers bounced back against the men in teal after they received a 0-2 beatdown against them to open their season.
Jonard Cedrix "Demonkite" Caranto's Julian led the Auroras to a resounding Game 1 win as he put up a 4/0/4 performance while Edward Jay "Edward" Dapadap's Khaleed contributed to nine of ten total kills.
Blacklist needed 22 minutes to even the score against Blacklist as they put up a 23-10 scoreline but in a close affair in the gold and map control department.
Michael "MP The King" Endino's 10/3/5 performance with the Ling while John "Perkz" Sumawan listed four kills and three 16 assists with the Gatotkaca.
Demonkite's Ling put up 10 kills and rtwo assists but to no avail as Perkz' Mathilda became superb for Blacklist to complete the comeback in Game 3, helping all 20 kills and only falling two times.
It was a bad game for Edward as his offlaner Chou suffered eight deaths and only assisted half of 14 total Aurora kills.
The two will set into the playoffs with yet-to-be-determined opponents in the first round.
