MANILA--Pilman Balanga FC was the biggest winner of the Aboitiz Football Cup's first-ever stop at the Don Bosco Technical Institute Football Field in Tarlac City on Saturday.
The club based in Bataan's capital city ruled three age groups, the under-8, under-10, and under-12 divisions.
Brothers Danielle and Dylan Liegue were named the Golden Ball winners for the U8 and U10 divisions, respectively, while Edu Sangalang took home the MVP honors in the U12.
Meanwhile, Dinadiawan FC's long eastbound trip from Dipaculao, Aurora to Tarlac City bore fruit as they went 1-3 in the U14 division.
Dinadiawan's Team B ruled the division, while the club's Team A finished third.
Basa FC of Floridablanca, Pampanga took home second place.
The Aboitiz Football Cup's Tarlac City leg continues this coming weekend with the U16 and U18 events.
