SMB spoils Justin Brownlee's 49-point showcase, ties PBA Govs' Cup semis vs Ginebra anew

MAKATI--San Miguel did not mind letting Justin Brownlee score 49 points as the team beat Ginebra, 131-121, in Game 4 of the PBA Governors' Cup semifinals on Wednesday night at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.

Behind a more solid offense as a team, the Beermen made quick work of the Gin Kings to tie their best-of-seven series at two games apiece.

June Mar Fajardo led SMB with 29 points on 12-of-13 shooting inside the arc, 16 rebounds, and three assists.

EJ Anosike added 27 points, 11 rebounds, and three assists, while CJ Perez put up 20 points, six rebounds, seven assists, two steals, and one block.

Brownlee went 20-of-26 from the field, 13-of-15 on twos, 5-of-9 on threes, and a perfect 2-for-2 on fours for Ginebra along with nine rebounds, five assists, two steals, and one block.
