MANILA--Terrence Romeo erupted from long range to lead San Miguel to a 131-125 overtime win against Ginebra in Game 2 of the PBA Governors' Cup semifinals on Friday night at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.

Romeo went 6-for-6 from beyond the arc in total even as he went clutch, scoring 22 of his 26 points in the fourth quarter and overtime.

None was more important, though, than his pick-and-pop three that tied the game for the last time at 117-all and his go-ahead four that gave the Beermen the lead for good midway through the overtime session.

"Ready lang ako every game," said Romeo, whose heroics made up for a crucial foul that led to Maverick Ahanmisi's two free throws that forced overtime.

The Gin Kings tried to stay alive, but free throws from EJ Anosike and Jericho Cruz iced the game for the Beermen.

Anosike top-scored for SMB, which forced a 1-1 tie in the best-of-seven semis, with 35 points, nine rebounds, and two assists.

CJ Perez added 28 points, 12 rebounds, seven assists, and one steal, while June Mar Fajardo went for 23 points, 21 rebounds, six assists, and two blocks.

Justin Brownlee came close to a 5x5 with 39 points, 15 rebounds, seven assists, four steals, and four blocks for Ginebra.

Japeth Aguilar added 29 points, eight rebounds, one assist, and one block, while Scottie Thompson put up 16 points, six rebounds, 10 assists, and one block.
