MANILA--To ensure the safety of athletes and spectators, the UAAP and the NCAA have rescheduled their Wednesday games due to inclement weather caused by Tropical Storm Kristine.

As the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) announced that the typhoon is expected to hit some parts of Luzon, Metro Manila has already canceled classes at all levels.

The 3:30 p.m. showdown between Adamson University and Ateneo de Manila University has been moved to a later date, along with the intense matchup featuring the University of the East and the University of the Philippines at 6:00 p.m.

The second-round action of Boys' Volleyball at Paco Arena will also be rescheduled.

Meanwhile, the highly anticipated clash between the top-ranked College of Saint Benilde and Lyceum of the Philippines University at 11:00 a.m. has been postponed, along with the 2:30 p.m. battle between Emilio Aguinaldo College and Jose Rizal University.

The collegiate leagues will announce the new schedule of games at a later date.
