Ginebra wins rare PBA All Saint's Night game, gets 1 back at TNT in Govs' Cup Finals

QUEZON CITY––In a rare time the PBA held a game on All Saint's Day, Ginebra came alive.

The Gin Kings got one back at the TNT Tropang Giga in the Governors' Cup Finals after an 85-73 Game 3 win right on the night of Nov. 1 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

This time, it was Ginebra's turn to stifle TNT defensively in the fourth quarter, holding them to only 14 points to pull away for good.

Scottie Thompson was named the best player for the Gin Kings with 15 points, five rebounds, four assists, and one steal.

Justin Brownlee led them with 18 points, 13 rebounds, four assists, one steal, and four blocks, while Maverick Ahanmisi added 16 points, eight rebounds, one assist, and one steal.

Rondae Hollis-Jefferson led the Tropang Giga, who are still 2-1 up in the best-of-seven series, with 24 points, 14 rebounds, seven assists, four steals, and one block.
