MANILA--After months of speculation, Troy Rosario is finally jumping to Ginebra ahead of the PBA Commissioner's Cup.
The league revealed on Monday that the six-foot-seven forward is listed in the Gin Kings' roster for the mid-season conference, confirming rumors that surfaced for the past few weeks.
Rosario later confirmed that he just signed with the PBA's crowd darlings, showing a picture of him shaking hands with Ginebra governor Alfrancis Chua.
"Dreams do come true," Rosario said in his Facebook post.
With Ralph Cu keeping his number 18 jersey, Rosario will don jersey number 1.
The roster reveal also confirmed that Justin Brownlee will remain as the Gin Kings' import for the Commissioner's Cup, making him the third Governors' Cup foreign player to stay put along with TNT's Rondae Hollis-Jefferson and Blackwater's George King.
While the PBA Commissioner's Cup begins Wednesday night, Ginebra will not see action until Dec. 11, when they start a killer stretch of six games in 15 nights up to the Christmas "Clasico" against Magnolia.
