Ricardo Ratliffe triumphant in PBA return as Magnolia rips Blackwater

MANILA--Ricardo Ratliffe was successful in his first PBA game back as he returned to the Purefoods franchise, now known as Magnolia, with a bang in a 118-100 rout against Blackwater in a Commissioner's Cup game on Thursday night at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium.

Ratliffe fired 30 points, 22 in the second half, on 11-of-13 shooting along with 18 rebounds, five assists, and two blocks as the Hotshots gradually pulled away from the Bossing.

Jerrick Ahanmisi set the tone for Magnolia in the first half and finished with 21 points along with four rebounds.

Jerom Lastimosa netted nine points, two rebounds, four assists, one steal, and one block in his much-anticipated PBA debut and first game in all competitions back since last year's UAAP wars.

George King exploded for 42 points, 12 rebounds, two assists, five steals, and one block, while Sedrick Barefield added 24 points, two rebounds, three assists, and one steal for Blackwater.
