MANILA—The Northern Lights shone brighter than ever.

Aurora Gaming (RORA), representing the Philippines, showcased an impressive performance to sweep Türkiye’s Ulfhednar (ULF), 2-0, in the Swiss Stage of the M6 MLBB World Championships on Sunday at the IOI Grand Exhibition and Convention Center in Putrajaya, Malaysia.

With the victory, Aurora kept their championship dreams alive while officially ending Ulfhednar’s campaign.

Ulfhednar opened the series aggressively, with Furkan "APEX47" Akbulut’s Hylos drawing first blood against Renejay Bacarse’s Chip during an intense mid-lane skirmish.

Despite Aurora’s Jonard "Demonkite" Caranto securing the first turtle using Suyou, an ill-timed clash at the river led to heavy casualties for the Filipino squad, costing them Demonkite, Renejay, and Edward Dapadap’s Phoveus.

RORA found a glimmer of hope when Kenneth "Yue" Tadeo, playing Zhuxin, retaliated by eliminating APEX47, though he quickly fell to Rosa’s Pharsa in the counterattack.

Aurora clawed their way back into the game, securing the second turtle and winning subsequent clashes, including a crucial two-for-one trade.

Though Ulfhednar managed to briefly regain momentum with a favorable three-for-two exchange at the top lane, Aurora's superior macro play kept them ahead by 1.5k–2k gold mid-game.

The tide turned decisively in the 9th minute when Renejay, expertly baiting Ulfhednar’s Sidar "Tienzy" Mentese (Joy), used Chip’s ultimate skill to secure the kill.

This set up a devastating clash that left three Ulfhednar members down while Aurora emerged unscathed.

From there, Aurora systematically dismantled Ulfhednar’s defenses.

Dominic "Domeng" Del Mundo, piloting Bruno, delivered a stunning maniac in the closing moments, sealing the first game with authority.

The second game began with high stakes and an explosive clash for the first turtle.

Tienzy’s Joy secured the objective for Ulfhednar but at the cost of APEX47 (Hylos) and Baris "Alien" Cakir (Hilda).

While Ulfhednar initially appeared to have the upper hand during the third turtle fight, Edward’s Phoveus turned the tide with a masterful display of Infernal Pursuit, flipping the skirmish into a four-for-three trade in Aurora’s favor, along with the turtle.

Aurora maintained disciplined gameplay, safely securing the first lord and dominating subsequent clashes.

Edward’s clutch performances, coupled with impeccable team synergy, gave Aurora a commanding lead.

The decisive moment came during the luminous lord fight, where RORA obliterated Ulfhednar, sealing the series with a flawless 2-0 scoreline.

With the victory, Aurora Gaming improved to a 1-2 record, keeping their M6 title bid alive as they fight to advance beyond the Swiss Stage.

For Ulfhednar, the loss marked the end of their journey, as they dropped to 0-3 and were officially eliminated from contention.
