SAN JUAN, MM—Hong Kong ripped Blackwater in the second half to take an 84-75 win in their PBA Commissioner's Cup game on Tuesday night at the FilOil EcoOil Centre.
The Long Lions outscored the Bossing, 45-26, in the final 24 minutes including a 27-9 third quarter to steal the win despite an early explosion from George King.
Chris McLaughlin, who came on to replace Cameron Clark for now, led the Long Lions, now 4-1 in the standings, with monster numbers of 32 points on 14-of-19 shooting, 23 rebounds, three assists, one block, and one steal for Eastern, which moved up to 4-1.
Glen Yang added 14 points, seven rebounds, two assists, and two steals, while Kobey Lam contributed 10 points, 11 rebounds, and four assists.
Despite a 41-point blast in total, King struggled in the end as he was held to only 10 points in the second half, although he too had 12 rebounds, one assist, and one steal for Blackwater, which dropped to 0-3.
