Joshua Munzon explodes as NorthPort spoils Balti Baltazar's PBA debut, edges Converge for 5-0 start

MANILA—Joshua Munzon put on an impressive show especially in crunch time as NorthPort's hot start in the PBA Commissioner's Cup continued on Thursday night with a 108-101 win against Converge at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium.

Munzon fired 30 points, but none was more important than back-to-back triples that broke a 97-all tie to put the Batang Pier up for good.

Munzon fired three rebounds, three assists, three steals, and one block as NorthPort is now 5-0 in the conference.

Kadeem Jack led the team with 32 points, 15 rebounds, one assist, one block, and one steal, while Arvin Tolentino chipped in 21 points, 13 rebounds, two assists, and two steals.

Jordan Heading fired 30 points, six rebounds, and six assists to pace Converge, which dropped to 2-2.

Balti Baltazar struggled in his PBA debut, only tallying five points, four rebounds, three assists, and one steal.
