MANILA--Poy Erram will not be suiting up for TNT on Sunday night as he will serve a one-game suspension for his actions early into the team's Friday night game against Hong Kong Eastern.
Erram appeared to have hit Glen Yang with 7:48 left in the first quarter of the game after Yang accidentally pushed Erram a bit while jockeying for position.
After confirming that it was a closed fist, the referees slapped Erram with a flagrant foul penalty 2, sending him off in the process.
PBA commissioner Willie Marcial ruled on Saturday that Erram will have to serve the ban plus a PHP20,000 fine.
Erram will not be in attendance when the Tropang Giga battle the NorthPort Batang Pier in the first game of the PBA Commissioner's Cup doubleheader at 5 p.m. Sunday at the Ynares Center in Antipolo.
