PBA: Robert Bolick drops 39 as NLEX stuns SMB

MANILA—Robert Bolick caught fire just in time to lead NLEX to a 104-99 stunner against San Miguel in their PBA Commissioner's Cup game on Sunday night at the Ynares Center in Antipolo.

Bolick saved the best for last in the fourth quarter, erupting for 20 points to nearly match the Beermen's entire output that quarter as the Road Warriors completed a second-half domination where they scored 64 points to steal the win.

Bolick finished with 39 points on 9-of-17 field goals including a perfect 3-for-3 on threes and 2-for-3 on fours and 14-of-17 free throws with two rebounds, nine assists, and one steal for NLEX, which tied Hong Kong Eastern for third place at 3-1.

Mike Watkins added 17 points, 28 rebounds, one assist, four blocks, and one steal.

Quincy Miller made 21 points, 11 rebounds, and one steal, while June Mar Fajardo added 20 points, 19 rebounds, three assists, and two steals for SMB, which fell to 1-1.
