PBA: SMB clobbers Terrafirma in Torren Jones debut, Leo Austria's return

MANILA—San Miguel gave Leo Austria a win in his return to the head coaching post by drubbing Terrafirma, 106-88, in their PBA Commissioner's Cup game on Friday night at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium.

The Beermen pulled away in the final quarter, outscoring the Dyip, 33-22, to seal the win.

Torren Jones had a solid PBA debut with 24 points, 13 rebounds, three assists, and one steal for SMB, which moved up to 2-2.

June Mar Fajardo came alive in the second half and came close to a 20-20 with 21 points on 9-for-14 shooting and 19 rebounds alongside seven assists.

Brandon Edwards led Terrafirma, which fell further to 0-5, with 18 points, 18 rebounds, two assists, and two blocks.
