MANILA--The Naic Aces drew eye-popping performances from Denzel Wong and Sam Deguara to open the Bangkok leg of The Asian Tournament Winter Tournament with two straight wins at the Verso International School Gym in the Thai capital.

Wong first erupted for Naic as he dropped 15 three-pointers in a 141-132 opening-day win against Chichi Albayanos on Thursday.

Wong eventually finished with 47 points as the Aces used a 53-point third-quarter barrage to pull away from the Wild Cats, who despite responding with a 49-point fourth quarter fell short of their comeback bid.

Deguara added 37 points for Naic in the win against Chichi Albayanos, but the night later, he dropped 58 against Loong in a 123-100 blowout win.

Deguara followed up on a dominating 18-for-23 clip from the field on Night 1 with a 25-of-37 shooting on Friday to lead the Aces to a rout against the Lions.

Xavier Alexander, who was a triple-double machine in TAT's predecessor ABL, tallied one for Naic on Friday with 19 points, 10 rebounds, and 14 assists with two steals and one block.
