HK Eastern sends Terrafirma to brink of winless PBA Comm's Cup behind Q4 blast

PASIG—Hong Kong Eastern sealed its place in the PBA Commissioner's Cup while keeping Terrafirma winless with a 133-110 rout on Friday night at the PhilSports Arena.

The Long Lions erupted in the fourth quarter, dropping 45 points on the Dyip, who once again lost steam in the end despite keeping the game close for most of the first three quarters.

Ramon Cao led Eastern, which joined a three-way tie with NorthPort and Converge for second place at 7-3, with 23 points, seven rebounds, and one assist.

Kobey Lam added 20 points, four rebounds, and 10 assists.

Brandon Edwards put up 26 points, 17 rebounds, and three assists for Terrafirma, which is now on the brink of finishing the conference winless as they fell to 0-11.

The team's last chance to score a win in the midseason tournament is on Wednesday night against TNT at the Ynares Center in Antipolo.
