MANILA--After seemingly going up and down early into the KBL season, Javi Gomez De Liano sparked a string of solid performances.

He had significant contributions for Anyang for the second straight day, this time resulting in a 74-67 win against Daegu on Sunday at the Anyang Gymnasium.

One day after tallying 13 points in Changwon as they put up a gallant stand against the Sakers led by red-hot Carl Tamayo, Gomez De Liano followed it up with a 12-point stint in 27 minutes of action, tying Deonte Burton as the Red Boosters' second-leading scorer behind Jeong Hyo-Geun, who had 18.

Anyang turned things around in the second half, outscoring Daegu, 44-30, to steal the home win.

Burton had a double-double as he too tallied 10 rebounds for the Red Boosters, who moved to 8-21.

Youssouphe Ndoye's monster game of 28 points, 28 rebounds, two blocks, three steals, and one block fell short as the Pegasus dropped to 16-12.

SJ Belangel missed all his seven three-pointers and only had 10 points with four assists and three steals.

Meanwhile, Ulsan ripped Wonju for a 94-69 road win at the Wonju Gymnasium.

Despite Migs Oczon's struggles two days after dropping a career-high 31 points, the Phoebus exerted their dominance on the Promy to stay in step with the Seoul SK Knights in the race for the top spot.

Shawn Long put up 25 points on 12-of-19 shooting, 11 rebounds, two assists, one block, and two steals for Ulsan, which moved up to 20-8, 1.5 games behind Seoul SK, which is playing Goyang now bolstered by Kevin Quiambao as of posting, for first place.

Gaige Prim added 20 points, eight rebounds, four assists, and one steal, while Oczon only tallied two points, three rebounds, two assists, and two steals.

Ethan Alvano's heroics, this time with 20 points, four rebounds, three assists, and one steal, fell short again as Wonju dropped to 13-15.

Chinanu Onuaku added 13 points, 10 rebounds, three assists, five blocks, and one steal.
