MANILA--The entire AP Bren roster is joining Team Falcons Philippines... for the Snapdragon Pro Series Challenge Finals.

The newly formed Philippine arm of the Saudi Arabian esports giant's Mobile Legends: Bang Bang squad announced on Saturday night that it will adopt the full team of the M5 world champion for the ESL-backed tournament, which will take place from Feb. 10-16 at the Persada Johor International Convention Centre in Malaysia.

This means David "FlapTzy" Canon, Michael "KyleTzy" Sayson, Angelo "Pheww" Arcangel, "Super Marco" Requitiano, Rowgien "Owgwen" Unigo, and his cousin Vincent, also known as "Pandora", will be under the Team Falcons PH banner at least for the Snapdragon event.

Rumors suggest that ESL just kept the name "Team Falcons PH" for its directly invited team after the end of the joint venture between Team Falcons and AP Bren last month.

The inclusion of the entire AP Bren squad under the Team Falcons PH banner for Snapdragon, though, refueled earlier speculations that the M5 champs may have just switched from black and gold to green ahead of MPL Philippines Season 15 scheduled to begin this March.

Interestingly enough, Jab Escutin, AP Bren's longtime chief operating officer, announced earlier Saturday that he already stepped down from the said post.

Escutin has been managing Canon, Sayson, Arcangel, Requitiano, and the two Unigos for quite a while now, seeing them succeed locally and internationally.

If Team Falcons PH will indeed be composed of what could possibly be the former AP Bren squad for the domestic league season, the Bren franchise could begin a rebuilding phase from hereon.

For now, though, Team Falcons PH's focus is on disputing the Snapdragon title along with the two Onic squads, Selangor, Team Flash, See You Soon, Falcon Esports, RRQ Hoshi, Evos Holy, Bigetron Alpha, Aurora, and Team Liquid Indonesia.
