MAKATI--Aurora began its redemption road on a high note as it trampled debuting Twisted Minds Philippines, 2-0, in the MPL Philippines Season 15 opening match on Friday night at the Green Sun Hotel Ballroom.
In Game 1, the "Kite Brothers," Dominic "Domengkite" Del Mundo and Jonard "Demonkite" Caranto, dominated their roles. They combined for 11 of Aurora's 18 kills without falling, and Twisted Minds PH's defense finally succumbed in the 19th minute.
Game 2, on the other hand, was quick work for Aurora.
The team needed only 13 minutes to finish the job against Twisted Minds PH.
