MANILA--Carlo Bumina-ang scored his first win as part of ONE Championship's main roster in style, knocking out South Korean opponent Song Min-Jong at ONE Fight Night 28 on Saturday at the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok.

Bumina-ang landed a flurry of punches that sent Song to the ground, and referee Herb Dean had seen enough after Team Lakay's newest sensation continued to pounce his opponent even if he still got to stand up, calling the finish in just 53 seconds.

Bumina-ang, whose impressive performances at ONE Friday Fights earned him the promotion to the main roster, bounced back from his first career loss to Enkh-Orgil Baatarkhu at ONE Fight Night 24 last August and moved up to 7-1, scoring his sixth career stoppage in the process.

Song, on the other hand, fell to 13-9.

Meanwhile, Jeremy Miado survived the challenge of Gilbert Nakatani for a unanimous decision win.

Miado's solid striking game frustrated Nakatani as the latter could not find the perfect opening for the submission.

To make matters worse, Miado bloodied Nakatani in the second round, although he had to escape the Japanese-American's last-minute ground game.

Nakatani had one last crack at a submission in the third round, but Miado did enough to make it to the final bell.

Miado moved up to 11-8, while Nakatani dropped to 8-3.

On the other hand, Filipino-American pugilist Sean Climaco got the better of a razor-thin decision against Colombian-American Diego Paez in a flyweight muay thai contest.

Climaco prevailed via split decision to move up to 12-3, dropping Paez to 7-3.

Only a loss by Lito Adiwang deprived the Filipino contingent of going 4-0 at ONE Fight Night 28.

Adiwang struggled to get his game going against Japanese opponent Keito Yamakita, who banked on his groung game prowess for a unanimous decision win.

Yamakita, currently ranked fourth among the strawweight title contenders, moved up to 11-1, while Adiwang slipped to 16-6.

The main event saw Nonthasith "Prajanchai PK Saenchai" Petchnamthong beating Elias Barboza to keep the ONE strawweight muay thai title.

Petchnamthong scored a devastating elbow strike that cut Barboza's left eye area badly, and the medics told referee Olivier Coste that they could not clear Barboza from continuing on, calling the fight off at the 1:55 mark of Round 4.

Petchnamthong stretched his impressive kickboxing record to 344-52, while Barboza fell to 17-6.
