MANILA--San Miguel's campaign in the EASL ended in disarray as Suwon bludgeoned them, 94-81, in a no-bearing Group A game on Wednesday night at the Suwon KT Sonicboom Arena.

With the Beermen fielding in a depleted lineup after sending imports Malik Pope and Torren Jones home following their stints in the PBA Commissioner's Cup and letting June Mar Fajardo and CJ Perez join Gilas Pilipinas in its training camp at the Inspire Sports Academy in Calamba City, the Sonicboom, who only had JD Cagulangan as a vital key player missing, raced to a 39-15 lead at the end of the first quarter.

SMB tried to crawl back, trimming the lead to as low as nine early in the third quarter, but Suwon launched a 9-0 run midway in the third and pulled away from there.

Rayshaun Hammonds put up 19 points on 6-for-10 field goals, four rebounds, three assists, one block, and one steal for the Sonicboom, who concluded their EASL stint with a 3-3 record.

Han Hui-Won, Choe Jing-Wang, and Ismael Romero each added 15 markers with Romero grabbing 15 boards and Choe going 5-of-5 from the field including 4-for-4 on threes.

Jeron Teng put up 17 points on 8-of-13 shooting, two rebounds, and one assist for the Beermen, who went winless during their entire EASL stint.
