ROS gets 1 back at TNT in PBA Comm's Cup semis as Adrian Nocum takes over late

MANILA––Rain Or Shine finally scored a win against TNT in the PBA Commissioner's Cup semifinals after getting the better of a 103-98 decision in Game 3 on Sunday night at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.

Adrian Nocum took over for the Elasto Painters within the last 8:02 of the game, scoring seven of their next 14 points after trailing, 80-81, while providing assists for crucial layups from Gian Mamuyac and Caelan Tiongson that stretched their lead to eight, 98-90, with 17 seconds left.

Rondae Hollis-Jefferson tried to keep the Tropang Giga alive with back-to-back four-pointers, but free throws from Nocum, Tiongson, and Mamuyac helped the Elasto Painters hold on.

Deon Thompson led ROS with 19 points, 15 rebounds, four assists, one block, and one steal, while Tiongson added 18 points, seven rebounds, four assists, and one steal.

Hollis-Jefferson finished with 34 points, 19 rebounds, two assists, and one steal, while RR Pogoy added 21 points, two rebounds, and one assist for TNT, which remains ahead in the best-of-seven series, 2-1.
