MANILA--Entering the last two minutes of his Wednesday night game, Mark Barroca was struggling from the field, missing his first eight shots.

However, when Magnolia needed his conversions the most, the PBA's current "Iron Man" delivered.

Barroca came alive in crunch time to lift the Hotshots to a 98-95 overtime win against the San Miguel Beermen in the final game of the PBA Philippine Cup before taking a one-week Lenten Season break at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.

Barroca drilled in back-to-back mid-range shots within the final 49.4 seconds of the game to give Magnolia the lead.

Don Trollano tried to force overtime, but he overshot a corner three, and Barroca secured the rebound as time ran out on SMB.

Zav Lucero led the Hotshots, who moved up to 3-0, with 24 points, seven rebounds, two assists, and two blocks.

Jerom Lastimosa added 21 points on 7-of-13 shooting, including 4-for-8 on threes, two rebounds, and five assists.

Calvin Abueva and Peter Alfaro each chipped in 11 markers, with Abueva also grabbing 10 boards and Alfaro going 3-for-3 on triples.

June Mar Fajardo and Juami Tiongson each scored 17 points, with the former collecting 17 rebounds for the Beermen, who fell to 2-1.

Rodney Brondial and Chris Ross each put up 10 points, with the former also tallying 11 caroms.
