QUEZON CITY--Panabo's loss could be Rodriguez's gain.

Following the postponement of the PBA All-Star Weekend in Panabo due to security concerns, the league decided to hold regular season games on May 2 and 4 instead.

For the first time ever, Rodriguez finally gets to see live PBA action as the league will play a doubleheader at the Rizal town's new sports and entertainment attraction, the Ynares Center 2.

As revealed on Tuesday night, NLEX and Blackwater will play in the first PBA game at the Ynares Center 2 at 5 p.m. on May 2, followed by a showdown between Phoenix and TNT.

The Tropang 5G will then play at the original Ynares Center in Antipolo two nights later, the evening the All-Star Game is supposed to happen, against the San Miguel Beermen, succeeding the curtain raiser between the Terrafirma Dyip and Magnolia Hotshots.

Also in the PBA's pipeline for May is a May 10 showdown between Converge and Ginebra in Pampanga and a May 24 clash between Magnolia and NorthPort at the Candon City Arena.

The highly anticipated rematch of the past two PBA Finals between the Tropang 5G and Gin Kings will happen on May 30 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.

The PBA Philippine Cup edition of the "Manila Clasico" will then happen two evenings later, right at the start of June, also at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Another non-Mega Manila game is slated on June 7 between Rain or Shine and SMB at the Aquilino Pimentel International Convention Center in Cagayan De Oro.

The PBA will end April with a doubleheader at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig, with the FiberXers taking on the Elasto Painters at 5 p.m. and the Batang Pier clashing with the Gin Kings at 7:30 p.m.
