MANILA--Team Falcons Philippines is turning to an old friend to help deliver the "lason" in the MPL Philippines Playoffs.

Team Falcons' main headquarters in Saudi Arabia announced on Thursday that it has signed Francis "Duckey" Glindro to join its MPL PH squad.

In effect, Glindro is set for a reunion project with his fellow former AP Bren members, who were absorbed by Falcons PH into the new MPL PH franchise following the breakup of their joint venture.

Glindro is listed as the "SEA head coach", which means he will take over the head coaching job from Robert "Trebor" Sanchez, who led Falcons PH in the regular season and the other tournaments the team participated in, although it may not have an effect on Falcons PH's Sibol stint in the IESF World Esports Championship since Sanchez was already named the national team's head coach before Glindro's return.

Falcons PH finished fourth during the MPL PH eliminations and will battle the fifth-seeded TNC in the first round of the postseason on May 28 at the Green Sun Hotel Ballroom in Makati.

Some observers, though, think Falcons PH could pull off some giant slaying, and that upset bid got a major boost in Glindro's arrival.

Meanwhile, Team Falcons also announced the signing of Aditya "Mozia" Putra to be the head coach of Falcons Vega Indonesia.
