MANILA--In a major shakeup in the women's pro Mobile Legends Bang Bang scene, NaVi enters the fray and bought two franchises, which include the reigning MLBB Women's Invitational champion.

NaVi announced on Wednesday night that it has acquired the entire Smart Omega Empress roster lock, stock, and barrel.

This means that Gwyneth "Not Ayanami" Diagon, Kaye "Keishi" Alpuerto, Rica "Amore" Amores, Alexandria "Lexaaa" Dardo, Sheen "Shinoa" Perez, and Mery "Meraaay" Vivero will be donning the NaVi jerseys starting with the Athena League playoffs from May 23-25.

The team now called NaVi PH took the first seed in the playoffs after topping the group stages with six wins and one loss.

NaVi PH opens its postseason campaign against AP Bren DCL in the upper bracket semifinals.

NaVi also took over the management of Malaysian club Arcane Ladies and renamed the team NaVi MY.

NaVi MY ruled the MWI Malaysia-Singapore qualifiers after beating Todak Ladies, 2-0, in the grand finals.

They gained a place in the MWI itself from July 15-19 in Riyadh.
