MANILA--Jordan Heading confirmed on Wednesday night that Converge has let him go ahead of an impending trade with TNT for Mikey Williams.

Heading said that he was already notified by the FiberXers team owner, Dennis Anthony Uy, about the trade, which is now pending approval from the PBA trade committee.

"Credit to the bosses. They've been respectful to me throughout this whole thing. Boss Dennis Uy invited me into their HQ today, and he had a conversation with me. I know he's a really, really busy guy, so I was just thankful that he had the respect to tell me in person," Heading said after watching what would now be his former team beat Terrafirma on Wednesday night at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig.

Even if he already knows he has to drop his purple Converge kit and get a new blue jersey from the TNT camp, Heading still decided to support the FiberXers for one last time.

"I didn't really know where to stand and sit, but at the same time, I still want to see these guys play. I still want to come in here and be in the locker room one last time and tell everyone that I appreciate them, and I had a really great time here, and I'm thankful for everything that happened here," he further said.

Heading remains sidelined due to back spasms he suffered during Game 3 of Converge's PBA Commissioner's Cup quarterfinals against Rain Or Shine.

According to the streak-shooting guard, he has been doing non-contact drills with the FiberXers as they were looking to reactivate him sooner prior to the swap with the Tropang 5G.

"I'm not just doing one rehab session a day. I'm doubling up. I'm trying to do 2-3 times a day. I'm trying whatever I can to get back out on the court faster, but as we kind of ramp things for myself on the court, we'll just assess the situation and how my body's feeling and just try not to rush into anything that's too soon," Heading further said.

He added that while there is no timetable set about his return to the court, he hopes that he would get back into shape as soon as possible to help TNT in its quest to complete the PBA's sixth grand slam in history, although it is also possible that he might have to wait until next season which begins on Oct. 5 to make his debut with the Tropang 5G.
