MANILA--TNT made sure that it would not be the next in line to Rain Or Shine's streak-busting schemes by taking over in the last 10 minutes of their Wednesday night PBA Philippine Cup game to take a 111-103 win at the Ynares Center 1 in Antipolo.

Down 79-84 with 10:13 left, the Tropang 5G went on a 22-5 run to go up, 101-89, with 4:20 remaining before holding off the Elasto Painters down the stretch.

RR Pogoy exploded anew with 35 points on 13-of-21 shooting, four rebounds, two assists, and one steal to lead TNT, which tied its victim in the team standings at 4-3, winning its fourth straight game.

Poy Erram also put up an impressive outing with a career-high 31 points, six rebounds, one assist, two blocks, and two steals.

Calvin Oftana chipped in 28 points, eight rebounds, and three assists.

Andrei Caracut put up 20 points, five rebounds, and two assists to lead ROS, which could not snap TNT's streak three nights after giving Magnolia its first loss of the conference.
