MANILA--Another elimination game, another blowout win by the Seoul SK Knights.
Seoul SK cut Changwon's lead further in the KBL Finals after scoring an 86-56 rout in Game 5 of the best-of-seven series on Tuesday night at the Jamsil Students' Gymnasium in Seoul.
Once down 0-3 in the series, the Knights stifled the Sakers in the last three quarters to turn what looked like a close battle after the first period into a second consecutive win by 25 points or more.
An Young-Jun got to show why he prevailed over Carl Tamayo in the MVP race by leading Seoul SK, which forced a Game 6 on Thursday night, with 21 points on 8-for-12 field goals, two rebounds, one assist, and two steals.
Jameel Warney added 17 points, 10 rebounds, three assists, and one block.
Yu Ki-Sang led Changwon, which gets another chance to finally close out the series at its home, the Changwon Gymnasium, with 14 points, three rebounds, one assist, and one steal.
Tamayo struggled anew, only making eight points on 4-for-14 shooting, although he also tallied six rebounds, three assists, and two steals.
