MANILA--AP Bren is set for a massive roster overhaul by releasing its entire MPL Philippines Season 15 roster.

AP Bren announced on Monday night that it is letting go of the roster formerly known as Lazy Esports following a disappointing season wherein, for the first time in three years, the team failed to make the playoffs.

"Your time with us may have been short, but you will always be a part of The Hive, a part of our story. Thank you for raising the banner with pride. For now, we part ways," AP Bren said in a statement on their Facebook page.

AP Bren absorbed the Lazy roster lock, stock, and barrel quickly after giving up its old lineup that won multiple titles locally and internationally to Team Falcons Philippines.

Despite being fresh from winning MDL Philippines Season 4, the Lazy core struggled to translate its glory in the developmental league to the top flight, and even if it won back-to-back matches to end the MPL PH season, AP Bren missed out on cracking the Final 6.

Despite what happened, AP Bren still called MPL PH Season 15 a memorable one.

"It wasn't just a season, it was a chapter that will forever be in AP Bren's history. You were solid proof that dreamers can achieve what their heart desires and that even weakness can be turned into strength," the statement continued.

AP Bren then wished the Lazy boys success in their future endeavors, whether they go back to MDL PH or their members would find themselves with new clubs.

The RealMe Mobile Legends Cup final against Uncle Drew Gamerpact on June 7 turned out to be AP Bren's last match in the Lazy tie-up era.

The week after, AP Bren began hinting at a roster shuffle by announcing that it is looking for a new head coach and new players through open tryouts.
