Chot Reyes suspended as TNT tries to close out ROS in PBA PH Cup semis

BINAN--TNT's bid to eliminate Rain or Shine in the PBA Philippine Cup semifinals hit a crucial snag as head coach Chot Reyes will serve a one-game suspension in Game 5 on Friday night.

Commissioner Willie Marcial confirmed the development first reported by Spin.PH's Gerry Ramos, saying that Reyes has already accumulated five technical fouls this conference.

PBA rules state that a player or coach will be suspended for one game for every five technical fouls incurred.

Reyes was slapped with a technical foul for resentment to a call just five minutes into Game 4, and although he would be able to keep his emotions in check the rest of the way, he will still not escape the sanction waiting for him.

The Tropang 5G will rest their laurels on the rest of their coaching staff as they try to seal a place in the finals in Game 5 at 5 p.m Friday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.
