PASAY—National University reigned supreme in the Infinix Campus Cup after sweeping the entire final phase on Sunday at the SM Mall of Asia Music Hall.

NU capped the domination with a 3-0 sweep of the Cambodian squad Team TDN in the grand finals.

NU took advantage of choosing Joy for jungler Johann Estacio, Granger for gold laner Kirk "Klutz" Herrero, and Selena for middle laner Harold Blas in all three games to deliver a near-flawless performance.

"We don't fix what's not broken. Kung sakaling na-check nila kami, meron pa naman kaming future plans, pero since di naman sila dumating sa point na i-ban out nila kami, we stick na lang to what works," head coach Dhap Palacio told Dugout Philippines after the finals win.

NU now shifts its attention to the MSL Collegiate Cup which begins on Friday also at the MOA Music Hall.

Palacio, though, does not mind the short transition of focus as the Bulldogs have already set their sights in the MCC even if they have to play in the XCC Grand Finals.

"Yung training namin leads to MCC na talaga," he further said, adding that they intended to keep their hero pool small enough so that other teams would have a hard time scouting them.

NU will battle UAAP rival La Salle, fellow Galaxy Gaming Academy Campus Series finalist First Asia Institute of Technology and Humanities, Batangas State University, University of St. La Salle, University of Iloilo, University of Southeastern Philippines, and Ateneo De Davao in the MCC.

The XCC Grand Finals saw special appearances from Aurora and Renejay Bacarse, marking the first time they shared the same stage after parting ways last week.
