MANILA--After six years, the PBA is holding a regular-season game in Dubai with sister teams Ginebra and San Miguel agreeing to take part in it.

The league announced on Sunday that the Gin Kings and Beermen will face off on October 26 at the Coca-Cola Arena in the emirate, marking the first out-of-country meet for its historic 50th season.

Both Ginebra and SMB were also in Dubai the last time the PBA went there in 2019, although they did not collide there.

Both teams, instead, took on the NLEX Road Warriors in separate games, with the Beermen prevailing and the Gin Kings falling short in an overtime thriller.

The Ginebra-SMB game is essentially the first scheduled game confirmed for the 2026 PBA Philippine Cup, although the full schedule is expected to be released just before the Oct. 5 tip-off.

Also to be announced by the schedule release or possibly earlier than that are the teams that will fly to Manama for the PBA games in the Bahraini capital during mid-December.

The PBA is also looking to play games for Season 50 in Doha, Saudi Arabia, and New York.
