MANILA—Defending M-Series world champion Onic Philippines showed newly-crowned MLBB Mid Season Cup champion Team Liquid Philippines that they will not give them the "Golden Road" on a silver platter this early at the domestic level with a 2-0 win in the nightcap of the MPL Philippines Season 16 Saturday matches at the Green Sun Hotel Ballroom in Makati.

Liquid PH, on the other fell to the bottom of the standings at 0-1.
