MANILA--After his initial bid was derailed by his contract disputes with Gilas Pilipinas, William Navarro is finally taking his talents to South Korea.
Navarro signed a contract to join Busan in the KBL following a short-lived stint with Magnolia in the PBA, as announced on Tuesday.
Navarro was previously linked to a move to the Seoul Samsung Thunders in 2022, but he eventually had to honor his contract with NorthPort and Gilas.
Some fans thought the six-foot-six forward's Korean dreams ended after suffering an ACL injury, but he was even more stellar after recovery, leading to the Egis taking a look at him again.
Navarro will take the place of Calvin Epistola in Busan's Asian Player Quota spot.
