MANILA--Blacklist International is set for a return to the men's professional Mobile Legends Bang Bang scene with an added twist.
Literally and figuratively.
For the first time since letting go of its MPL Philippines franchise earlier this year, Blacklist makes a return to MLBB's grandest stage, albeit at the second division, forging an alliance with Twisted Minds Philippines as the latter's MDL Philippines affiliate for the rest of Season 6.
Blacklist's returning squad, however, will not consist of any male player at all.
Blacklist is bringing in the entire Blacklist ZOL program to MDL PH, marking the first time an all-girl group will play in the said developmental league.
Joining the Blacklist ZOL-Twisted Minds PH alliance are Venezia "Bene" Corpuz, Ira "Ayra" Suzon, Jewel Reyes, Honey "Rain" Talagtag, Denise "Taro" Marasigan, and Lhoureain "Rianne" Alcaraz.
The new tie-up emerged after Twisted Minds PH ended its MDL affiliation with Bear Esports following a match-fixing violation.
Twisted Minds Blacklist begins its historic MDL PH alliance on Tuesday with a showdown against Flair Esports in the seeding rounds.
Twisted Minds Blacklist inherited the previous struggles of Bear before the match-fixing infraction, which means TMBI will be playing Flair in the lower bracket semifinals for Group D.
