Cole Micek finally drafted to PBA as ROS takes him in Round 3

PASAY--Cole Micek finally made his way to the PBA after Rain Or Shine took him late in the third round on Sunday night at the SM Mall of Asia Music Hall.

The six-foot guard, who has been stellar with Macau in TAT, remained available after the second round amid projections that he would be selected as early as the first round.

Teams before the Elasto Painters' turn decided to pick someone else early in Round 3, allowing the Welcoat franchise to take Micek with the 10th pick of the said round, the 34th overall in the entire draft proceedings.

Terrafirma picked Orin Catacutan with the first pick of Round 3 and 25th overall, while Phoenix drafted Harvey Pagsanjan at 26th.

Blackwater picked Jack Dumont at 27th overall, NorthPort drafted Mark Sangco at 28th, and JL Capulong went to NLEX at 29th.

Magnolia went for Gab Gomez with the 30th pick, Meralco selected Ethan Galang at 31st, and Converge nabbed Tony Ynot at 32nd.

Royce Mantua went to San Miguel at 33rd overall, while TNT entered the draft by picking Sean Quitevis with the last pick of Round 3 and 35th overall.

Ginebra, already satisfied with its shock selections in the first two rounds, opted to pass.
