MANILA--Aurora Philippines continued to roll in MPL Philippines Season 16 after a masterful Game 3 performance to nip Twisted Minds Philippines, 2-1, on Friday night at the Green Sun Hotel Ballroom in Makati.
With both teams canceling each other out in the first two games, Aurora PH went on a rampage early in Game 3, scoring the decider's first seven kills within the first eight minutes of the game, including three on Michael "MP The King" Endino.
Although Twisted Minds PH had a bright moment after a sneak setup from Carlo "Caloy" Roma brought down Dylan "Light" Catipon, the team never got to recover from Aurora PH's early dominance, as the latter even had a massive 13,400-gold lead before finishing the game off.
Now on a winning streak, Aurora PH jumped to first place with a 3-1 record, while Twisted Minds PH, after a 3-0 start, dropped back-to-back matches to fall to 3-2.
