QUEZON CITY--Worried that watching the Thrilla in Manila 50th Anniversary fight card live in flesh at the Smart Araneta Coliseum would cost you a lot of money?

That may not be the case, as the renowned ring announcer Ted Lerner revealed on Tuesday during the ceremonial weigh-in for the Wednesday night boxing event, suggesting that ticket prices are as if it were Oct. 1, 1975 all over again at the said iconic arena here.

Lower box tickets for the anniversary will just cost you PHP100, while tickets are also available at PHP50 and PHP75.

Melvin Jerusalem will stake his WBC minimumweight title against South African opponent Siyakholwa Kuse in the main event of the fight card, which serves as a tribute to the legacy brought about by the original "Thrilla in Manila", headlined by the grudge match between Hall of Famers Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier.

Both Jerusalem and Kuse made weight for their 12-round battle during the weigh-in event at the Gateway 2 Quantum Skydeck.

Also on the fight card are Carl Jammes Martin battling Aran Dipaen of Thailand, Eumir Marcial battling Venezuela's Eddy Colmenares for the vacant WBC International middleweight championship, former world champion Marlon Tapales taking on another Venezuelan in Fernando Toro in an eight-round bout, and rising star Eman Bacosa taking on Nico Salado.
