MANILA--Aurora Philippines continued its regular season domination in MPL Philippines Season 16 as it swept Twisted Minds Philippines, 2-0, on Friday night at the Green Sun Hotel Ballroom in Makati.
Aurora PH once again banked on its aggressive early game as it never gave Miguel "Sionnn" Alcantara a chance to build himself up with his patented Kimmy and raced to a 12-and-a-half-minute finish in Game 1 with a 14-3 kill lead headlined by an 11-0 kill-death record from Dominic "Domengkite" Del Mundo.
Although Alcantara would get himself going with Lunox in Game 2, Aurora PH's solid macro gaming kept Michael "MP The King" Endino, trying his luck using Bane as a jungler, from securing the objectives as the team finished the eventual clincher in just 11 minutes.
Aurora PH now has a 10-match winning streak and is in a strong position to secure a first-round bye in the playoffs sometime in Week 7.
On the other hand, Twisted Minds PH has now lost three straight matches as it fell to 5-7.
