MANILA--TNT jumped to the top of the PBA Philippine Cup standings after sending Titan Ultra to the cellar with a 130-92 blowout on Friday night at the Ynares Center 1 in Antipolo.
The Tropang 5G burst ahead in the second quarter, outscoring the Giant Risers, 40-19, before erupting for 68 points in the second half to seal the rout.
Henry Galinato led TNT, now 3-1 in the standings after back-to-back wins, with 16 points on 6-of-8 shooting, nine rebounds, and one block.
Mike Nieto added 15 points on 5-for-8 field goals, seven rebounds, and one assist, while Calvin Oftana led the starters with 14 markers, 10 rebounds, and one assist.
Joshua Munzon put up 20 points, three rebounds, and four assists for Titan Ultra, which dropped to 1-3.
Calvin Abueva's return, which saw him tally 15 points, 11 rebounds, three assists, and one steal, was also not enough.
