ANTIPOLO--The PBA has made an early precaution with potential super typhoon "Uwan" set for landfall on Sunday night.

The league announced the postponement of its scheduled doubleheader for Sunday at the Ynares Center 2 in Rodriguez, Rizal.

TNT was supposed to face Magnolia in the first game, while Ginebra was scheduled to take on Titan Ultra in the second game.

"The PBA urges everyone to take all necessary precautions and stay safe during the typhoon," the PBA said in a statement on Saturday.

The league will announce the new date of the postponed games at a later time.

As of 10 a.m., the entire province of Rizal was placed under signal number 1.

With the effect still minimal, the league is pushing through with its scheduled Saturday games at the Ynares Center 1 here.

Blackwater faces Converge in the first game, while Rain or Shine looks to reclaim the solo lead against NLEX in the second game.

Also, the EASL announced that the game between Meralco and Taoyuan at The Capital Arena in Ilagan is pushing through.

Ilagan and the rest of Isabela are bracing for Tino as the storm could make landfall at the southern part of the province either on Sunday night or early Monday.
