MANILA––San Beda dominated Lyceum with a 91-67 win in their NCAA men's basketball quarterfinal duel on Thursday at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay.

Eyeing payback after getting stunned in their classification round meeting earlier this month, the Red Lions began the game with a solid defensive effort that held the Pirates to just 10 points in the first quarter.

Then as offense began to pick up in the second period, San Beda erupted for 34 points to open a 51-40 halftime lead.

The team virtually sealed the deal by limiting Lyceum to only 11 points in the third to completely blow the game wide open.

Yukien Andrada led the Red Lions, who will play the winner of the Friday rubber match between the College of St. Benilde Blazers and Mapua Cardinals in the Final Four, with 20 points on 6-of-10 shooting from beyond the arc, three rebounds, and one steal.

Janti Miller added 18 points and six rebounds, while Bismarck Lina chipped in 15 points on 5-of-8 field goals, 13 rebounds, and two assists.

In his final NCAA game, Ato Barba led Lyceum with 13 points, two rebounds, and four assists.
