ANTIPOLO--Meralco made quick work of Terrafirma to score a 120-87 win in their PBA Philippine Cup duel on Wednesday night at the Ynares Center 1.
The Bolts, back from their EASL grind, limited the Dyip in scoring in the first quarter before blasting off with a more solid offense in the last three quarters.
CJ Cansino led Meralco, which moved up to 4-4 to keep a good shot at making the quarterfinals, with 20 points, eight rebounds, and one steal, while Chris Banchero added 13 points, one rebound, and one assist.
Mark Nonoy put up 22 points, one rebound, four assists, and two steals for Terrafirma, which is now eliminated from playoff contention after the drop to 1-8.
