MANILA--In a late plot twist before the national team swings into action, Gilas Pilipinas got a huge boost in the interior as Poy Erram made it to the final lineup.

As announced on Saturday by the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas, the TNT center will take over the spot to be vacated by the College of St. Benilde's Allen Liwag, who is still nursing a shoulder injury that he suffered in the NCAA.

In an interview over Power and Play earlier in the day, SBP executive director Erika Dy denied rumors that Thailand barred Erram from joining Gilas and first revealed that he is now part of the "Final 12".

The rumors stemmed from the earlier decision to field Liwag instead, even if Erram was attending the Gilas practice more.

Gilas opens its SEA Games campaign against Malaysia on Sunday.
